100 Calorie Chocolate Chip Cookies

There are countless recipes out there for "healthy" cookies and brownies, whether they are made with oats, or avocados, or even black beans. But - honesty hour time - they don't exactly taste like the real thing. These cookies, while they are amazing, are no different. I am not going to BS you and say they taste exactly like mom's homemade chocolate chip cookies, because they don't. HOWEVER, when you are trying to live a healthier lifestyle, finding low-calorie treats that can satisfy that sweet tooth is not always easy. Good news is, this is one of those treats! When all is said and done, these "cookies" come in at only 100 calories apiece, and they are actually good! (shocking right?) Well anyways, I hope you all enjoy these as much as I do.

Ingredients

2 bananas (it is okay if they are a little over-ripe)

2 eggs

1 c peanut butter

2 tsp vanilla

2 tbsp honey

1/2 tsp baking powder

Dark-chocolate chips

Instructions

1) Preheat oven to 350 and lightly grease 24 muffin tins

2) Mash bananas using a fork until liquefied

3) Whisk in eggs

4) Add vanilla, baking powder, honey, and peanut butter and mix until combined

5) Distribute batter evenly between 24 muffin tins

6) Place 5 dark-chocolate chips on each cookie

7) Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes, checking periodically to avoid overcooking

Enjoy!
