Açaí bowl

Smoothie bowls are one of my all time favorites. They are such a quick and fresh breakfast option. And trust me - you will feel FULL. Another thing I love about smoothie bowls is the option to switch it up. Depending on the toppings you use, it creates a whole different flavor. Some of my favorite combos are Strawberries + Bananas + Nutella

Mango + Pineapple + Cashew butter (or PB)

Mango + Blueberries + Almond butter + granola

... the combos are endless! I always try to incorporate some smooth topping in there, like honey, peanut butter, Nutella, or something like those. It adds a great texture.

Ingredients

1 Trader Joe’s açaí packet

1/2 c frozen mango

1/2 c almond milk (possible 1/4 c extra)

Toppings of choice


Instructions

1) Add frozen mango, açaí packet, and almond milk to blender

2) Blend on high, periodically pausing to stir and push frozen bits to the bottom

3) If the mixture is too thick and not blending well, you can slowly add more almond milk and continue to try. BE CAREFUL not to add to much milk. You don't want to make it too runny. Just add the milk small amounts at a time. 4) Add smoothie mixture to a bowl and add chosen toppings.

I gave some examples of topping combos I like up top, but just have fun with it! Other topping options include coconut chips, granola, any nut butter, honey, pollen, chia seeds, flax seed, cacao nibs, or any fruit! Some people even put avocado (ew, not a fan). But my point, you can get creative! Make the bowl your own.
